Philip Mark Benanti of Milford, Connecticut, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 14, 2013.  He was 60 years old. Mr. Benanti was born May 29, 1953 in Norwalk Hospital and spent his childhood in Danbury, CT.  He was an extremely talented and dedicated Master Carpenter and Artisan who loved working with his hands and built wonderful and beautiful things.  He also loved fishing, boating, camping and gardening as well as making furniture in his workshop.
Mr. Benanti is the proud father of Philip Joseph Benanti also of Milford. Along with his son, Philip Joseph, Mr. Benanti will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Mrs. Germaine C. Benanti, his sister Gigi Benanti and brother Joseph (Jay) P. Benanti (wife Anne), nephew (Joseph Hector) and niece (Liliana) all of Norwalk.  Mr. Benanti was predeceased by his father, Hector Joseph Benanti of Danbury.
Family and friends can visit on Thursday (TODAY), December 19, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 N. Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.  A short service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Funeral Home followed with Interment at St. Peter’s in Danbury, CT.
