Alexander A. Bevvino Jr., 70, of Milford, CT passed peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital on October 3, 2017 with his beloved family by his side. Born on December 12, 1946 in Derby, CT he was the son of the late Alexander and Jean Bevvino. Al graduated from Sacred Heart University and completed his MBA at University of New Haven. He was a captain in the US Army. He was employed at Avco Lycoming and Sikorsky Aircraft. Al enjoyed golfing, family time and walking the beach.
Al is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Thurlow Bevvino; daughter, Kim Bevvino; stepdaughter, Lisa Colucci; sisters, Cheryl and Deborah Bevvino; grandchildren, Nick and Alee Bevvino; nieces, Caitlin Bevvino Ring and Julia Berv; nephew, David Berv, and great-nephew, Saja Bevvino-Keith. Al was predeceased by his son, Kyle Bevvino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Ave., Derby CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
