Elizabeth Ann Winters, 85, of Milford, passed away on October 24, 2017. Born on March 18, 1932 in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jane Winters.

Betsy was a volunteer at the Milford Audubon Society and a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society. She also volunteered at W.H.E.A.T., a food bank in New Haven, CT. She worked for Yale University for many years as an Associate Dean of Students. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, gardening and loved cats, especially her cat, Alice.

Betsy leaves behind her nieces, Christina Bond and husband William, Elizabeth Englund and Kathrine Oliver, husband Jeff, and their children Jon Schweter, Krista Roll, and Cortney Hernandez; nephews, David Englund, wife Dolores and sons Rodolfo Rosales and Brian Englund, and Thomas Englund; and brother-in-law, David Robert Englund; Elizabeth was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jane Englund.

Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
