Beulah D. Dumas
September 10, 1922 ~ August 16, 2017 (age 94) 94 Years OldBeulah “Boots” Dumas, 94, of Milford, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital after a brief illness.
Born on September 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie Babcock. She is predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Born in Cornwall, New York, she moved to Milford Connecticut in 1961 and was employed by Bic Pen Corp. for 34 years.
Beulah is the mother of Beverly Melzer of Milford, Carol Webster and her husband Colin of Milford, Robin Fenn and her husband Mel of The Villages Florida, and Vaughan Dumas and his wife Sheri of Milford. She is predeceased by two sons, Edward and Clifford Weeks. Beulah is the Grandmother of 9 and Great Grandmother of 11.
Adored by everyone who knew her, she also held a special bond with her loving niece Julie Legenos of Shelton. Her family and friends will miss her hearty laugh, long phone conversations, and precious smile.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Beulah’s name may be made to Hospice (Vitas Healthcare).
