I grew up in New Canaan. Now volunteer at the Ahren's Program in Milford. I recognized Jesse immediately when I saw him. He was from the same town as my father in Italy and they shared the same first name .
We talked about New Canaan a lot whenever he came in to spend the day and I remembered him from the library also.
My condolences to the entire family.

My Uncle Jesse was my Godfather and what a wonderful role model he was for me growing up. I spent many summers with the Piselli family in New Canaan. My mind is overflowing with memories of those times. He and the rest of the family made me feel like one of their own. His memory and legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. I will cherish his memory and know that someday we will meet again. RIP Uncle Jesse.
