Gerald A. Lamb, 87, of New Haven, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. Jerry, as dear ones, family and friends called him, was born November 20, 1929 in San Bernardino, California. He was a middle child, the third born of George Lamb and Agnes Horton.     

After high school, he attended San Bernardino Valley Community College for two years before enlisting in the United States Army in 1951. He served from September 1951 to September 1954.  He was stationed in Japan.

After his honorable discharge from the Army in 1954, he enrolled in the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1957. Upon graduation he was employed by Winn's Drug Store, in Redlands California, working as manager pharmacist for many years, and then by Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Riverside. He married Betty Ann Goethe in 1964 in Rialto, CA; she passed away in 1975 in Redlands. Of his two adopted sons, Eric Jon passed away in 1990 in Palm Springs, California.

Jerry is survived by two sisters, Suzanne Jenison of San Diego, CA, and Sharon Kathleen Reasor of Schertz, TX; 14 nieces and nephews, and his adopted son, Professor Rubén Pelayo of New Haven, Connecticut, with whom he lived for the last nineteen years of his life.
