Hey, I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we miss you. you were one of the best grandpas anyone could ask for, & it's crazy that I didn't cherish the time we had together & I took all our moments together for granted. crazy what time does. I think about all the jokes you made that went over my head when I was younger, all the shows we watched, (& all the snacks & sleep overs). though I wish you were still physically with us, it's better to know that you're carefree, not in pain or stress anymore, & living it up somewhere. I keep this tab open on my phone, I like to read these sometimes & look at everything. you made an imprint on everyone you came in contact with. who's ever reading this, you matter. you're important. you're loved. have a wonderful day.

Mary Ellen and I so sorry to hear the sad news, our love and prayers go out to you and the kids. Whenever I look at a picture of Jack I can hear that deep voice, always with a joke or a kind word.
I first met Jack in September of 1973, at Platt Tech. Being from upstate New York he always liked to give a 'just a simple country boy' image, which earned him the nickname 'The Crawdad Kid'. Anything but simple, he was quick in judgment but not judgmental.
So many great memories of Jack and of course later on you and the kids. Sorry for your loss which is all our loss as well,

I am so saddened to hear about Jack . He was one of the kindest people I have known and always caring for others first . I have such wonderful memories of him when he used to visit my parents and I when we were kids . I know the good Lord will hold him in his arms forever. You are truly going to be missed Jack .
