Janice L. Kordiak, 58, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2017 at her home in Milford. Janice was born on July 28, 1958, in New Haven, CT. She graduated from Amity High School and then later graduated from Paier College of Art with a degree in Technical Illustration and Commercial Art, class of 1983. She was employed by Latex Foam International as a Customer Service Rep for over 30 years. Janice was an accomplished painter with a love of music and traveling. Her hobbies included skiing, fishing, lobstering and boating.

Janice was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Mossberg Kordiak and her father, Stephen M. Kordiak. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, John (Sandy) Kordiak; step-mother, Jeannette Kordiak; nephews, Michael (Chelsea) Kordiak and Christopher Kordiak; niece, Jackie Kordiak; aunt, Judy Wittaker; uncle, Alan (Jane) Mossberg; and her close friends, Spence Hoyt, Louis and Renee Oliwa and Redgie Iamunno.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 1009 Main St., Branford, CT, all are welcome. Memorial donations may be made to listener supported WPKN Radio. The family is being compassionately cared for by the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
