Jason R. O'Connor, 33, of Milford, CT, residing in Jacksonville, NC, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017. Born on January 30, 1984, he was the beloved son of Ricky Ferrigno and Kathy O'Connor Hart and Gregory Hart.

Jason is also survived by his adorable son, Lucas O'Connor; fiancé Gwendolyn Pomeroy, and her three children, Topanga Pomeroy, Jonathan Rogers and Nicholas Rogers; his beloved sister, Melissa Hart; grandparents, Marlene Terry and her husband Charles, and Patricia Ferrigno;     uncles, Patrick O’Connor, Robert Ferrigno and Robert Plaut; aunts, Lorri O'Connor and Stacie Plaut; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Raymond O'Connor and Angelo Ferrigno.

Jason was known for being a very giving, smart, hardworking and loving person. He was always trying to help others. Most of all he loved his family and the time they spent together. He excelled very easily in school when he was young. Jason liked to play any kind of sport but basketball was his favorite. A few years after graduating Joseph A. Foran High school he went to NC and worked his way up to assistant manager of the biggest Walmart on the east coast. He loved being outdoors and fishing. He worked with his father landscaping whenever he was back in CT or riding motorcycles with  mom, dad and his sister and seeing his family.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lucas O’Connor Scholarship fund C/O Milford Bank, 33 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
