What a wonderful woman. Karen was one of my favorites at YNHH hospital. I was grateful whenever we crossed paths. I admired her dedication to the patients staff and Drs on EP7-7 the ortho floor.
She had a youthful exuberance that defied her age. Her pictures parasailing made me smile. Her sweet voice her sweet smile her sweet self will be what I remember. most.

I had the privilege in working with Karen at Turkey Hill School.. She was a wonderful and extremely helpful teacher's aide. Her personality exhibited her generous character and compassion for other people.
With Deepest Sympathy.

My heart goes out to the entire Smith family. So many memories of practically living at the Smith's house growing up. Kristin and I became friends not long after I moved in up the street in the early 60's. I always remember Mrs. Smith's smile and laugh. She always seemed happiest with her babies around her. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs.
