Katherine Mary Patrick (Boyce), 74, of Milford, beloved wife of 56 years to Gerald Patrick, Sr., passed away peacefully on November 15, 2017. Born on November 19, 1942 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Boyce.  

Katherine had a passion for gardening, gaining the title of Master Gardener. She was the chairman of the Federated Garden Clubs of CT, a founding member of the Milford Garden Club, and taught a master’s horticultural class. Katherine and her husband were members of the Gaelic American Club and traveled often with members. Katherine had a love for books, meeting regularly with her book club, and volunteering at the Woodmont Library. She was a gourmet cook. Above all else, Katherine loved spending time with her family at the beach and in the mountains.

Along with her loving husband, Katherine is survived by her children, Kathryn Patrick, JoAnn (Richard) Bidwell, Jaclynn (Joung) Lee, and Jeanne (Owen) Lancer; grandchildren, Earin (Colby), Meghan, Krystin, Jacob, Rebecca (Bryan), Josefa (Jacob), John Patrick, James, Ethan, Dylan, and Maryjane; great-grandchildren, Alexys, McKenna, Declan, and Sean; siblings, John, Patricia, Margaret, William, and Daniel; and many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her son, Gerald Patrick, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 9 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org/donation.
