Kathryn D. Bauer, 82, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Roger J. Bauer, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2017. She was born on April 1, 1934 in Harlem, NY to the late Anna (O’Brien) Horgan and Patrick Horgan.

She resided in the Bronx, NY until moving to Milford in the late 60’s. She was a long-time member of St. Mary's Parish and spent many years volunteering with the school. She loved taking trips to Vegas, Atlantic City and the local CT casinos. Bingo being an all-time favorite.

Kathryn is survived by her sons, Roger and his wife Kimberly, Steven and his wife Rebecca and Ricky and his wife Mary; her four grandchildren, Brooke, Eric, Meredith and Alexandra. She is also survived by many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Roger Bauer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, 50 Gaylord Farm Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492. The family has been compassionately cared for by the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
