Kathryn Begley, 85, of Milford, beloved wife to the late Bernard L. Begley, Sr., passed away peacefully on July 29, 2017. Kathryn was born in Queens, NY on September 1, 1931, to the late Daniel and Elaine Cunningham Disimile.   

In her youth, Kathryn served in the Women’s Auxiliary Navy Reserves. She went on to work in the billing department of Milford Hospital for 50 years. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Elaine (Sue) Begley, Daniel Begley, and Bernard L. Begley, Jr.; grandchildren, Taylor, Kaycie and Bryan Begley; sisters, Danielle MacLeod, Donna Marie Disimile, and Maryellen (Carl) Hillard; sisters-in-law, Rita Disimile and Teresa Begley; extended family, Lee and Larry DeLuca; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathryn was predeceased by her siblings; Frank Disimile, Marcella (Ray) Jackson, and Daniel Disimile, Jr.; brother-in-law, Chester MacLeod and Peter Begley. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
