Marie Louise Joseph, passed away on December 13, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital at the age of 68. Marie was born in Haiti on September 17, 1949, daughter of the late Elita Jussema and Excellomme St. Jean.

Marie resided in Connecticut, since moving to the United States in 1987. Her passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marie was immensely caring and she received everyone with open arms into her home. She loved to entertain and always had a house full of guests. Some of her best moments were spent around Sunday dinners and gatherings amongst many family and friends.

Marie is survived by her devoted husband, Isidore D. Joseph; her daughters, Fabiana Joseph and Rachelle Lebrun and her sons, Jude, Diderot, Davidson, Elisée and Jephthe Joseph; eleven grandchildren, Mounir, Zackary, Jonathan, Abigail, Asiyah, Noah, Abiel, Daniel, Hannah, King and Benjamin, three brothers and two sisters.  In addition, Marie is survived by many loving in-laws, several nephews & nieces and many friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT, and at 11:00 a.m. at First Congregational Church, 2301 Main Street, Stratford, CT for the Funeral Service. Burial will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford, CT.
