Patricia R. Olenski, 91, of Milford, beloved wife to Henry Olenski, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2017. Patricia was born in Milford, CT on February 3, 1926, to the late Robert and Elizabeth Pinkham Maiden.

Patricia graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1944. She was an avid UConn Women’s Basketball fan and enjoyed the time she spent with her knitting club.

In addition to her loving husband, Patricia is survived by her children, Edward (Joni) Henning, James (Melody) Olenski, Thomas (Wendy) Olenski, Timothy (Karen) Olenski; grandchildren, Edward (Dixie) Henning, Dawn (Edward Finlayson) Henning, Heather (Kevin) Morse, Erica (Aaron) Johansen, Harmony Gerst, Michael (Rita) Gerst, and Ryan (Kelly), Brooke, Matthew and Courtney Olenski; great-grandchildren, Edward Henning III, Daisy Morse, Bryant Johansen, and David, Miles and Cassie Gerst; sister, Elizabeth Maiden; nephews, Harold (Marilyn) Camacho and Alan (Peggy) Camacho; several nieces, nephews and extended family members; her caregiver Pati Dull and her dog, Lucky. Patricia was predeceased by three sisters. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patricia’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
