A good man and a treasured friend. He was a major positive influence in my teenage years at St Augustine Church in North Branford and for years after. I treasure the times I came home to No. Branford for a family visit and Fr. Bob would meet me, and at times Jim Brosnan, for lunch at the Chowder Pot. He was a fine man and priest. I look forward to seeing him again.

Our deepest condolences to the family. Father Lord was a good man. He married us in 1983. Such a personality; he lit up the room with his smile. He will be missed.

Father Bob was awesome! Always had a smile when I saw him on campus @ CCSU & then I found out he was once priest @ my childhood church (St. Augustine) & good friends of the family. It made it easier to go to him for support in my junior year when things got tough. He was amazing with this atheist. My sincere gratitude to Fr. Lord for support in crisis & following me for while after.

He was an amazing man who touched many. My sincere condolences to his family, friends & parishioners.

I met Father Bob in the confessional in Lourdes on a private pilgrimage. Later I was to come to know him as a supportive priest in all my projects and serving side by side with him in Lourdes. A beautiful man and priest. He will help us all from heaven. Love from John

Fr, Bob will be missed by the entire Andronowitz Family. We are deeply saddened by his passing, but the wonderful memories live on. Knowing Fr. Bob for 28 years he has blessed our family in many ways. Married four of my children, baptized grandchildren and took part in family reunions, also celebrated Christmas Mass here with family and friends. We are so grateful for his kindness and friendship. May Fr. Bob rest in ETERNAL PEACE...

So grateful to have known Father Lord, he was an extraordinary man with a kind heart who provided a place of peace and prayer while I attended Central many years ago. I recently ran into him while I was visiting my own father at Masonicare and he was as sharp and kind as ever. He will be missed here, but I know he is at peace and with God now.

I first met Fr. Bob 59 years ago at St. Bonaventure's Christ the King Seminary in Olean, NY. From that time on, we became very close friends. Fr. Bob spent many happy moments at our home on Cape Cod, especially Thanksgivings, and we are grateful to God for the friendship we have shared over the years. We are saddened to learn of his passing and are glad that we were able to visit with him recently at Masonic. My family and I will miss him and we offer our condolences to all his many friends and family.

Father Bob Lord was the greatest friend and man I have ever known. He was the spiritual guiding light for the Adams Family for 26 years. He was our mentor, best friend and family member. Father Bob baptized us and married us. We recieved First Communion from him, he offered mass in our home, and blessed us with frienship, love and support during the tough times.

In a word we are GRATEFUL for the Lord!
