Victor James Sekelsky, Jr., age 76, of Milford CT, beloved husband of the late Katherine H. Sekelsky, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2018. Born on June 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Ethel Stano and Victor James Sekelsky. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Sekelsky, his son, Victor J. Sekelsky III, and his daughter-in-law, Danielle Sekelsky. He is also survived by his sister, Candace Delaplane, and sister-in-law, Harriet Sikorski, as well as his nieces and cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Carol.

Although a number of years retired from his career in engineering, Victor retained a lifelong interest in technology and a hands-on approach to building and repairing things around his home. During his career as an engineer, Victor worked for Perkin-Elmer and Northrop Grumman, where he was part of the team that developed the lunar module. He will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor and love for his family.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford. Friends and family may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
