Vincent R. Romanello, 90, of Milford, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018. Born on September 8, 1927 in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of the late Domenick and Mary Romanello.  

Vincent was a retired police sergeant for the Port Chester police department and U.S. Marine Veteran and was passionate about both boating and fishing. As with any patriarch, family always came first. Although he never had any children of his own, nieces and nephews cherished his stories during Sunday dinners and celebrations. His presence will be missed but never forgotten.

Vincent is survived by his nieces and nephews, Domenick (Fran) Romanello, Philip Catalano, and Ann (Doug) Sprague; great nieces and nephews, Geri Lynn (Anthony) St. Joseph, Laura (Brad) Clouser, Marybeth Romanello, Amanda and Nicole Catalano, and Daniel, Vincent (Arielle), and Kayla Sprague (Josh); and great-great nieces and nephews, Anthony, Thomas, Luke, Domenick, Henry, Madden, Nolan, and Maryanna; and his long time sweetheart, Joan. Vincent was predeceased by his brother, Daniel (Laura) Romanello, and niece, Mary Catalano.

Friends and family may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Interment will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Cemetery, 1 High St., Rye Brook, NY (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY).
