Alexandria L. Martin

Alexandria L. “Chickie” Martin, 69, of Milford, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2018. The daughter of the late Alexander and Ann Flynn Lombardi, Alexandria was born on April 28, 1948 in Bronx, NY.

Chickie found joy in spending time with her family and friends and cuddling with her beloved chihuahua, Daisy. More than anything she loved her children unconditionally. She fought her illnesses for a long time and surprised everyone until the very end. She will be dearly missed.

Alexandria leaves behind her loving son, Alan Martin of Bridgeport; daughter, Anjelica Martin of Guilford; brother, Joseph Lombardi of Bronx, NY; sister, Ann Shirley of Orange County Florida, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Alexander Lombardi, her mother Ann Flynn Lombardi, and her sister Kathleen Lombardi.

The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Hill Rehab Pavilion for caring for Alexandria these past few years, as well as the nurses and doctors at Milford and Yale New Haven Hospitals for their dedicated care in the final weeks.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be at the family’s discretion.
