Anna Boynton

July 26, 1932 ~ March 15, 2024 (age 91) 91 Years Old

Tribute

Anna M. Boynton (Brienza) 91, of Milford Connecticut beloved wife of Theodore
O. Boynton Jr (68 years) passed away peacefully in her home on March 15, 2024. Anna was born on July 26, 1932 in Tuckahoe, NY. She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Cornacchio) Brienza. She and her family moved to Milford when she was 7 years old and she attended the Milford Schools. Anna was a lifelong Milford resident.

Anna was always proud to be called a “beach kid” where she spent summers growing up working in different stands on Myrtle Beach. It is there where she first laid eyes on her soon to be husband, Teddy, who was on leave from the Navy.  She prided herself on her work ethic and took third shift opportunities, ran the candy stand at Lou Gehrig and spent multiple years frying dough at the Saint Mary’s Carnival. Anna also spent 25 years at Bic Pen where she worked in multiple departments at the factory.

Above all, her family was always number one whether it was her siblings, her children, or her grandchildren - nothing else mattered. She was always the one that everyone counted on and was always there when someone in the family needed anything. You could always find her in her chair at the table, doing what she does best….

In addition to her beloved husband Theodore, Anna is survived by her children Theodore (Cynthia) Boynton, Patricia (William) Varnum, cherished grandchildren Alyssa, William and Robert Varnum and Theodore IV and Steven Boynton as well as many nieces and nephews. Anna is survived by her sister Carol Reilly and sister-in-law Eleanor Brienza. She is predeceased by her beloved brother the late Charles Brienza and beloved sisters and brothers-in-law Jennie (Steve) Voros, Dolores (Thomas) Bova and Daniel Reilly.
