Anthony "Tony" Andrew Peterson

Anthony “Tony” Andrew Peterson, 63, of Milford, beloved husband of Lori (Bertig) Peterson, passed away on December 25, 2020. Born on January 24, 1957 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Robert and Grace (Riccio) Peterson. 

Tony was a 1975 graduate of Bullard Havens technical high school and employed at Sikorsky Aircraft for 38 years as a plumbing fabricator and helicopter inspector until his retirement in 2015. He had a great love for his family, basketball, motorcycles, boating and was a die-hard Yankee and LA Rams fan.

In addition to his beloved wife of 36 years, Tony is survived by his children, Jon (Amber) Peterson, Anthony Peterson, and Andrew (Czarina Greaney) Peterson; his grandchildren, Aleksa, Josiah, Abigail, and Emma; his siblings, Robert (Linda) Peterson, and Pamela Peterson; his siblings-in-law, Rocky Capone, Kathy Karlson, and Patty (Scott) Dow; his Golden Retriever, Petey; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his son, Matthew Peterson, and his sister, Judy Capone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish), 400 Merwin Ave., Milford. Only 100 people are allowed inside the church at once due to gathering restrictions and masks will be required. Interment will be private. Friends and family may call AT THE CHURCH from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
