Antonios Ioannis Amoratis

Antonios Ioannis Amoratis, 89, of Milford, beloved husband of Vasiliki (Giannisis) Amoratis, passed away on September 17, 2022. Born on September 16, 1933 in Andros, Greece, he was the son of the late Ioannis and Marianthe (Daniolos) Amoratis.

In addition to his beloved wife, Antonios is survived by his children, Hariklea “Lea” (Nick) Loussides, and Iakovos “Mike” Amoratis; his grandchildren, George and Angeliki Loussides and Nicholas Amoratis; his great grandsons, Jason John and Antonios Joseph Amoratis; and his large extended family. Antonios was predeceased by his son, Ioannis A. Amoratis.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Rd., Orange, CT 06477. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barbara. Entombment will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park 90 Pine Rock Ave., New Haven, CT 06515. Memorial donations may be made to St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT 06477.
