Dearest Katie and Family,
Carolyn has told me how your Mother was doing after her every visit, Your Mother was such a fun classmate at Catholic High. You really needed a sense of humor to survive there! I was very close with my Mother and I had to take care of both of my parents. I do know what a sad time and difficult time this is for you. Your Mother would want you to be happy with your new life. More tomorrow, Love, Jeannie

I am so, so sorry to hear about Arline. We were cousins, three years apart. I remember her fondly, having grown up together and enjoying holidays at Grandpa Lingis's home in Waterbury, CT. I will keep you in my prayers. Donna

We have no words for you Brian, Katy and Dick. We are profoundly sorry for your loss. Arline was such a wonderful person. I was lucky enough to run into her a while back and we met for coffee (that lasted over 2 hours). We carpooled to Dunbar Hill for all those years and were such good friends. Arline was a mom other moms could could count on to watch a kid or lend a kind ear. She had a heart that encompassed everyone and was always there to lend a hand. Our hearts go out to you all and you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Love from Skip and Charlene Shumway.

For four wonderful years of High School Arline, Priscilla and I used to take the bus home from Waterbury Catholic High School together. We would stop at the Deli on Highland Ave. and buy ice cream and talk for at least an hour before parting ways. Actually, I passed Arline's house on my way home so we would often spend more time talking....mostly about the cute boys we hoped to meet! My heart is so heavy with knowing how much we meant to one another back the.n and sad that we never kept in touch. To her dear family I send my sincere condolences.
