Arthur Weyant

Arthur Weyant, 81, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Milford, passed away after a brief illness with his loving wife of 43 years, Celia, by his side. Art was predeceased by his parents, David and Emily Weyant.

After graduating from Milford High School, Art entered the US Air Force where he served as a Staff Sergeant Morse Code Interception Operator. He was with the Milford Volunteer Fire Co. 2 and worked for Pitney Bowes until his retirement. Art enjoyed bowling and played in many leagues while living in CT. He loved to garden and was an avid hockey enthusiast, his two favorite teams being the NY Rangers and the New Haven Night Hawks.

Art is survived by his three stepchildren, Mickey Wyman, Wayne Wyman, and Dawn (Brian) Murphy; brother, Charles Weyant; sister, Karen Craig; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private.
