Bailey Gabriel Rogers, born June the 7th of 1998, in New Haven, CT, passed away Sunday, May the 6th of 2018 while embracing life to the fullest. An avid outdoorsman, Bailey was doing what he loved surrounded by nature and close friends. Throughout Bailey’s life and undoubtedly in the steps in the journey he is now on, he will bring everyone around him laughter, passion, strength and love. He was a gentle giant, standing tall above those around him and yet was the most tender among us. As we deal with the loss of our boy, we are surrounded by love; and through the sharing of stories we continue to learn about the countless lives in our community that Bailey touched. This has helped us to more fully see and solidify the fact that Bailey lived a full life on his own terms. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Milford, CT, graduate of Jonathan Law High School class of 2016 and a proud employee of Oak Stone Land Services in Norwalk, CT where he followed his love of the outdoors through landscaping. He spent his free time fishing, riding his ATV and Dirt bikes, proudly played Lacrosse and Soccer for Jonathan Law High School, loved photography, and spending time with the love of his life Morgan Pastir of Milford, CT and student at Quinnipiac University.
Bailey is survived by his father, Jason Rogers; his future stepmother, Whitney Kildahl; loving brothers, Jacob Adam and Noah Henry; future step-siblings, Gavin Nathaniel and Caroline Victoria; his mother, Sandra Jean Schofield who resides in Warwick, Rhode Island; and grandparents, Charles & Elaine Rogers and Caryl Stirk.
A Celebration of Bailey’s Life for all friends and family will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
