Barbara Mae Alterisi

Barbara Mae Alterisi, 82, of Milford, beloved wife of Salvatore Alterisi for 38 years, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020. Born on July 23, 1938 in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Mihalik. Barbara graduated from Stratford High School and went on to work for Nationwide Insurance before retiring from ADT.

In addition to her loving husband, Salvatore, Barbara is survived by her son, Robert (Marika) Wheway; her grandchildren, Robert (Kara) and Andreanos (Allyson); her great-grandchildren, Finleigh, Sadie, Sawyer, and Emery; her niece and nephew, Christine (Gene) Bouchard and Richard (Ali) Mihalik, Jr.; and by several cousins. Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Richard Mihalik, Sr.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
