Barbara Ann Ambriscoe, 74, of Milford went home peacefully to be with the Lord on June 10, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of the late George and Ann Ambriscoe, whom she joins in heaven along with her late brother, Richard Ambriscoe. She is survived by her sister, Rosemarie Ambriscoe, her brothers, George Ambriscoe, Jr., and Michael Ambriscoe and his wife Evelyn, her niece Jaclyn Hagner, her nephew, Keith Ambriscoe, and all of their families, including many grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Barbara reflected her father’s fun-loving sense of humor and always wanted to make people smile and laugh. She also loved ceramics and crafts, a talent she learned from her mother. Barbara worked for several years in retail and as a certified nurse’s aide. Her natural gift was always caring for others, and her patients would request her by name. She dedicated many years volunteering for the nonprofit organization, Engine 260 Inc., a fire buff club that raises funds for Camp Happiness. Barbara was an avid supporter of the New York Yankees and UConn Women’s basketball teams. She enjoyed listening to rock ‘n’ roll music, and she adored her beagles, Missy and Patches.
