Beatrice Anna O’Neil, 100, of Shelton, formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Arthur Howard O’Neil, Sr., passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017. Beatrice was born on October 23, 1916 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Frank and Carmela Federici.

Beatrice held many jobs over the years, including waitressing and working at Avco-Lycoming. She lived in Milford until her retirement when she moved to Las Vegas to be with her daughter and son-in-law. In her spare time, she enjoyed bingo, crocheting and desserts, especially a hot fudge sundae. She was also entertained by watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. Beatrice was a hardworking and loving woman who touched so many people by her bright and welcoming smile. She loved spending time with her family and friends, most of all her children and grandchildren.

Beatrice is survived by her children, Arthur H. (Barbara) O’Neil, Jr. and Carol Ann (Vincent) DePino; her grandchildren, Michael (Charmaine) O’Neil, Liz Warren, Artie O’Neil, Meghan O’Neil, Melissa (Ivan) Serna, Jill Bassett and Ian Bassett; her great-grandchildren, Logan Grace O’Neil, Robb Torrens, Darren, Maxwell and Lucy Warren, Asia O’Neil and Brannagh Marie and Sarah Marie Kuebler; and her sister, Louise Marshall. She was predeceased by her brothers, Nick, Patsy, Albert, Tony and Frank Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private. Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
