Brian Robert Hulse, 81, of Milford, beloved husband of Delena (Herron) Hulse passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2023. Born on March 21, 1941 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was the son of Gladys (Delaney) Hulse and the late Clifford Hulse.
Brian served in the Air Force for 6 years before working many jobs throughout his life. Brian worked at Spectrum Associates as a Draftsman for many years, then as a Store Designer for Subway World Headquarters for 12 years before retiring.
Brian is more known as the Founder and Lead Singer of the renowned band “Flashback” bringing memories and love of 50’s Rock n Roll music to many fans for 38 years.
Brian is survived by his children, Scott Hulse (Holly), Lori Stein (David), Gregory Hulse (Sheri); stepchildren Debra Robinson, Denise Treiber (Kurt), and Jon Robinson (Linda); his grandchildren, Kenneth Hulse (Victoria), Christopher Hulse (Danielle), Stephanie Ayala (Ken), Hannah Stein, Erica Stein, Ashley Hulse (Meredith), Geoffrey Hulse (Kelsey), Matthew Porter and Savanah Robinson (Noah); and his great grandchildren, William, Alexander, Andrew, Aubrey, Noah, Johnathan, Jackson, Benton and Luna. Brian is also survived by his mother, Gladys Hulse of Milford who is 104 years old; his brother, Brad Hulse; his sister, Bev Lebel (Wayne); and several nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Wolf.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” Service on April 15, 2023 at Kingdom Life Christian Church, 1455 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT from 10:00am to 11:00am. Visitation Hours will be from 9:00am to 10:00am before the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
