Brianne H. Rowley

September 5, 1993 ~ April 3, 2018 (age 24) 24 Years Old

Tribute

Brianne Rowley, 24, of Killingworth, passed away on April 3, 2018. Born on September 5, 1993 in New Haven, she was the daughter of Brian Rowley and Shay O’Brien.

Brie attended Haddam Killingworth High school and later on went to graduate with a cosmetology degree at Branford Academy of Hair Cosmetology. She was the most outstanding mother to her first born child, Paisley. She grew up spending summers and vacations with her sister Shaina and family. She loved to cook and bake and she was amazing at it. Her apple pie and homemade jelly were to die for. Her favorite car was always an Acura and she would never buy any car unless it was stick shift. Brie was the type of person to tell you how it is, even if you didn't like it. She was nice, funny and could light up a room in seconds. Growing up, Brie played catcher in softball while her sister was the pitcher, they were inseparable. Brie told her softball team to call her "Patches O'houlihan" because if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a softball. If there is one thing that brie truly loved full heartedly, it was Dillon Zak. They went from high school sweethearts to now fiancés and all Brie wanted was to spend her life with him, one way or another. Losing Brie in our family has been nothing but tragic and we are going to miss her every single day of our lives. We love her so much. We love you to the moon and back Brie; she will always be our Queen. Love, Shaina, Aunt Kathy, Dad, Mom, Tj, Dillon & Paisley (& many others).

Brie is survived by her beloved daughter, Paisley McKenna; cherished siblings, Shaina Rowley and TJ Aceto; devoted fiancé, Dillon Zak; loving aunts and uncles, Kathy (Pete) Cornato, Michele (Scott) Tenney, Shawn O’Brien, and Susan Rowley; beloved grandmother, Lynn “Bubba” Brady; and doting pets, Kimbo and Bigglesworth. She was predeceased by her uncles, Michael, John, and Kevin Rowley; maternal grandfather, Ed DiCosmo; and paternal grandparents, John and Norma Rowley.
