Carmine "Connie" Silva Andrade

Carmine “Connie” Andrade, 91, of Milford, beloved wife of 63 years to the late Antone “Tony” Andrade, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2018. Connie was born on July 27, 1927 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Manuel and Adeline Silva.

Connie was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport and was employed by General Electric and Underwood Typewriter. A member of St. Mary’s Women’s Guild and later Christ the Redeemer Church, she loved dancing, traveling with her husband and winters spent in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, as well as cooking and baking for family and friends. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Sharon (Frank) Giglio of Branford; cherished grandsons, Sean Lewis and Christopher (Kathryn) Lewis; foster daughter, Paula Santagata; brother, Anthony Silva and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Silva, Chris Silva, Manuel Silva, Lucy Andrade and John Silva.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. at St. Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT.
