Carol Ann Evans

Carol Ann Evans, 75, beloved wife of the late Robert C. “Pops” Evans, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018. Carol was born on November 19, 1942, in Penn Yan, NY to the late Bernard “Punk” and Dora Elizabeth Ledgerwood Hoban.

Carol was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy. She enjoyed vacationing at Keuka Lake, watching golf and UCONN women’s basketball games. She loved various types of crafts and went through phases of ceramics, knitting, sewing and quilting, among many others. Carol was a devoted wife and mother, and she will truly be missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Golden Hill Rehab Pavilion and Constellation Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Carol is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon (Michael) Mullenix, Stefanie (Christopher) Cogan and Samantha (Bernie) Genest; her devoted grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Delgado, Carolanne and Justin Cogan, Mark and Jason Mullenix and Haylee and Natalee Genest; cherished great-grandchildren, Harper and Henley Delgado and Evan Guedea; her sisters, Sally Adsitt and Bernadette Gridley.
