Carol Joan Loux

Carol Joan Loux, 79, of Milford, beloved wife to Paul Loux, passed away on May 12, 2018. Carol was born on November 14, 1938 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Theodore and Mina Strerath. In addition to her loving husband, Paul, Carol leaves behind her aunt, Patricia Miller; a few cousins; and her dear friends, Lee Harrison and Phyllis Pinckney.

Carol graduated from Stratford High School. She and Paul were married on May 7, 1960 and had 58 wonderful years together. She worked at Bic as a Human Resources Secretary and greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends for lunch. She was an avid flower gardener and bird watcher. She was a cantor at Christ the Redeemer church and even played the organ. Carol loved to try new things and was very active and adventurous.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Rd., Milford, CT. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an organization very dear to Carol’s heart, The American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., 1-91 Tech Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
