Charles W. Wise

Charles W. Wise passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, at his home in Melbourne, Florida. Charles was born on July 20, 1943 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Paul Wise and Martha Wise. Beloved husband of the late Katherine Wise.

Charles was a proud U.S. Naval Veteran and went on to have a successful career as a shift leader at Schick. He married his beloved wife, Katherine, in 1969 and they were happily married for over 37 years.

Charles was a hardworking family man and viewed being a father as one of his greatest life accomplishments. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed spending his days outdoors, usually fishing,  golfing, and yard work. On stormy days he enjoyed sitting outside either in his garage or under a canopy to watch and listen to the rain fall. Charles was an avid football fan, and passionately cheered on his favorite local high school teams.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Charles is survived by his three beloved children: John Paul Wise, Carolynn Knight and her husband Edward Knight Jr., and Marianne Wise. Three grandchildren: Cadence Wise, Olivia Knight, and Sophia Knight. As well as many additional beloved family and friends.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to his long time care giver Jennifer Jenkins, who devoted her time to offering Charles loving and compassionate care.

A Memorial Service Gathering is to be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at Cody White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford CT) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment with Military honors to follow at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford, CT.
