Daniel F. Moll, 74, of Cheshire, beloved husband of Brenda Moll, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2021. Born on January 30, 1947 in Hampstead NY, he was the son of  Ann Moll, and the Late George Moll.

He attended Milford Public Schools and graduated from Milford High. He concluded his studies at the University of New Haven. In 1966, he enlisted in the United States Army. He spent 12 months in Korea during the Vietnam War and retired as a Staff Sergeant in 2007. His professional career consisted of both sales and consulting in the waste management industry. Dan loved sports. He was well known around the hockey rink as “The Big Chief” where he spent many years coaching and forming travel tournament teams. His grandchildren Daniel & Sadie have since followed his lead and love of the game. Dan was exceptionally passionate about music. DooWop music could be heard wherever he was. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Along with his wife and mother, Daniel leaves behind his son, Brendan (Michele) Moll; grandchildren, Christopher B., Daniel, and Sadie; siblings, Nell Moll and Katie Silva; and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Christopher D. and sister, Irene Moll.

Family and friends may gather on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
