David Paul Serfilippi, 75, of Orange, beloved husband of Cheryl (Grieb) Serfilippi, passed away on July 26, 2022. Born on December 22, 1946 in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Primo and Enis (Paul) Serfilippi.

David taught special needs children at May V. Carrigan Intermediate School in West Haven for 33 years and was instrumental in founding Tall Oaks Camp for special needs kids. David was a “foodie” who loved to cook, eat and exchange recipes. He was also an avid baseball fan who played from childhood until the Twilight League. He enjoyed routing for the Mets. In memory of David, follow his advice and “take a child to a game”.

David was predeceased by his cousin, Ronald Nardini.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at West River Healthcare and all of David’s friends at Starbucks for their care and compassion.
