Dominick John Facin Jr.

Dominick John Facin, Jr., “Cipolla”, 87, formerly of Milford, Connecticut, entered peacefully into the Hands of God on May 31, 2022. Born on May 8, 1935 in Woodbridge, Connecticut, he was the beloved son of the late Dominick and Antoinette (Perrotti) Facin, Sr.

Dominick was a veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army. After serving, he went on to work at Perrotti and Sons and Suzio Concrete for many years. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling both locally and abroad.

Dominick loved his family and friends. He was a devout Catholic. He had a love and passion for horse racing and being at the track with his brother and nephews. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino with good friends and cousin, Pat Perrotti. Dominick also loved sports, especially football and basketball. He was an avid UCONN Huskies fan.

Dominick is survived by his three children, John (Susan) Facin of New Hampshire, Paul Facin of Connecticut, and Tracy (Dwight) MacDonald of Maine, grandson Tyler MacDonald, and the mother of his children, Dorothy Facin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Dominick was predeceased by his longtime companion, Geraldine Mason, as well as his siblings, Anthony, Bernard, and Joseph.  

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Lawrence Cemetery 280 Derby Ave (Rt 34)., West Haven, CT. Exit 57 from CT15. Please meet directly at the cemetery office for guidance to the gravesite.
