Donald C. Thennes, 76, Milford, CT, beloved husband of the late Linda Merrill, passed away on February 24, 2018. He was born on October 28, 1941 in Milford.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was also the successful business owner of Vanguard Laminates. His greatest success was his family; they brought him the most happiness and he will be greatly missed.

Donald is survived by his children, Robin Thennes, Lisa Cervin, Donald (Veronica) Thennes, and David Thennes; his favorite granddaughter and the pride of his life, Ashley Cervin; and his brothers, Larry (Nancy) Thennes, and Charles Thennes.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The VA Connecticut Healthcare System at https://www.volunteer.va.gov/.
