Edna Mae Glazier, 74, of West Haven, beloved wife of Charles Glazier, Jr., passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2018. Edna was born on April 4, 1944 in Marlinton, West Virginia, the daughter of Mr. Humes and Mrs. Iva Shinaberry Humes.
Edna was a country girl at heart and was an avid camper. She worked for over a decade at the Kimberly Diner in Milford and was also a member of the Milford Elks Lodge 1589.
In addition to her husband, Charlie, Edna leaves behind her children, Deborah (Ken) Heineman, Robert (Jen) Cochran and Teresa Cochran; her 14 grandchildren; her stepchildren, Kathleen (Paul) Glazier Ducharme, Charles Glazier III, and Renee Glazier; her brother, Keith (Mikie) Shinaberry; and her sister, Sharron Shinaberry.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 308 River Rd., Shelton, CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
