Edna A. Medford

Edna A. Medford, 96, of Milford, beloved wife of the late William Medford, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2018. Born on August 7, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Edna Wenzlik.  

Edna attended Saint Saviour High School and graduated from Notre Dame College in Staten Island and Saint John’s University. She was a devoted teacher for over 30 years. She was also chairman of Business Education Department of Elmont High School and Coordinator of Business Education service for Sewanhaka High School District. She spent her retirement years among family and friends in New York and Boynton Beach Florida. She was an active member of Saint Christopher's Parish in Baldwin, NY and president of their senior club for many years. She was loved by her friends and family. 

Edna is survived by her children, William (Margaret) Medford, John Medford, and Robert (Ruth) Medford; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Medford and his wife Anne.
