Edward Joseph Phelan, Jr., 95, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of Elizabeth Phelan, passed away on August 29, 2017. He was born on May 31, 1922 in West Haven, CT. Along with his beloved wife Elizabeth; he is survived by his two loving daughters Deborah and Marilyn Phelan. Edward was a Veteran of WWII in the Navy aboard the USS Essex as an airplane mechanic.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf Rd., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will be private. Family is compassionately cared for by CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
