Edward Anthony Visconti, Jr.

August 28, 1961 ~ January 6, 2022 (age 60) 60 Years Old

Tribute

Edward Anthony Visconti Jr., 60, of Milford, beloved husband of Cindy Natowski, passed away on January 6, 2022. Born on August 28, 1961 in New Haven, he was the son of Shirley Gibbs and Edward A. Visconti Sr.

To many he was known as Chick, Ed, Eddie but to a very special crew, he was known as Dad and Grampy.  His life was one hard working decision after another.  It began just shy after the eighth grade, quitting in his early high school years.  Ed thrived on making money doing something he liked, auto mechanics.

Ed began working at New Haven Truck And Trailer and eventually ventured off to contracting with Frito-Lay/Wise Company as a self employed mobile service truck.  From there he felt it was time to find a location to be established at.  The venture of this found, his first opening in East Haven at the age 18.  Recognizing that this location didn't have the means, he relocated to Branford then North Haven facilities.  Realizing his true potential, he took a gamble in the Milford community in 1988.  Edward built the business to the extent of but not limited to; a full automotive foreign and domestic mechanical site, a full collision and repair, and a 24 hour towing and recovery center.  Along with a used car lot and detail center.  Later he opened up a rental center for cars and trucks.  There he resided and made his foot print in the Milford community for the last 34 years.

Chick is the oldest child to Shirley Gibbs and Edward Visconti Sr.  Including his parents he also leaves behind his siblings Thomas (Starr), Frank, James, Paul, Christine, Michelle (Alex) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. He is predeceased by his sister Deborah.

Edward leaves behind the love of his life, Cynthia Natowski.  Together these two were inseparable.  Wherever one was the other was not far behind.  They shared many fond memories of venturing to different flea markets and mini road trips.  One of Dad's favorite past time was spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He leaves behind his children Edward, Trisha, Vincent (Wendy), Krista, Melissa, Joseph along with the most spunkiest group of grandchildren Kaitlyn, Cierra, Caden, Khlowie, Zohwie, Matthew, and Alitah.  Their time was well spent together going to Six Flags, bowling, Wednesday ice cream runs, mini golfing, Cape Cod, Lake George, and the many family meals filled with lots of laughter.  Dad/Grampy will forever remain in our hearts.

To his loyal customers, Eddie much appreciated all your vehicle concerns and the many chats you shared with him.  Eddie will be greatly missed.
