Elaine Maulucci Van Wagner

Elaine Maulucci Van Wagner, 95, of Milford, CT, beloved wife of the late Albert Van Wagner, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2021. Elaine was born on April 11, 1925 in Stella, Nebraska, to the late Joseph and Mary Vennoch.

She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. After being a stay at home mom to her three children, Elaine worked at Bic for many years before going to work at the Milford Board of Education as a secretary. She was involved with the girl scouts and boy scouts and enjoyed being a troop leader for her children. After retirement, Elaine and Albert had many adventures traveling around the country. She was a very talented artist, which she was very passionate about her entire life. She was known for her avid collecting of Santa Clauses.

Elaine leaves behind her daughters, Patricia Dwinel (husband Roy), and Ann Bartone (husband Andy), granddaughters Anne Kane (wife Kristen) and Frankie Jo Maulucci, and great granddaughters Ashley Lankton and Edie Kane. Elaine also leaves behind stepdaughter Cherilyn Rein, and step grandchildren Robin and Jay Rein. She was predeceased by her son, Frank Timothy Maulucci, and her sister Lorraine Pigott.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a walk-through wake on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Due to size gathering restrictions, a limited number of people will be allowed in the building at one time; masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
