Elizabeth M. Connors

Elizabeth M. Connors, 87, of Milford, beloved wife of William E. Connors, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2018. Elizabeth was born on May 16, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Harold and Nora Shaffer.

Elizabeth was happiest when surrounded by her family and she completely adored her grandchildren. She loved cheering them on during their sporting events and was so proud of all their accomplishments. Elizabeth had a passion for quilting and belonged to quilting associations in Milford. She was a dedicated Yankee fan who enjoyed taking long naps and watching her flowers grow.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Maureen (Tony) Raccio, Ellen Connors and John Connors; and her grandchildren, John Connors, Jr. and Anthony and Nora Raccio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
