Elizabeth Marie Fitzgerald

It is with much sorrow and great love, that the family of Elizabeth Marie Fitzgerald, 61, of Milford, CT, announce her sudden passing on September 27, 2021. Born on February 28, 1960 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gloria (Bissonnette) Fitzgerald.

Elizabeth graduated from Albertus Magnus College with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business. She spent many years working in the field of accounting. Elizabeth was a multi-talented crafter who created lovely needlework art, was an expert knitter, as well as making beautiful handmade jewelry. Elizabeth also loved to spend time with, and dote on, her nieces and nephews as they grew up.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister Kathleen (Thomas) Morse; her Godson, Christopher (Sherry) Morse; nieces, Heather (Joshua) Ehret and Melissa (Bob) Fuller; nephew, Patrick Fitzgerald; and great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother, Gregory Fitzgerald.

A Mass in her memory will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Saint Mary Cemetery in Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alliance in Limiting Strays, in keeping with Elizabeth's love of cats.
