Elva M. Lucas

Elva M. Luca, 90, of Milford, the beloved wife of the late Frank Robert Lucas, passed away on June 23, 2018. Elva was born on August 19, 1927 in Springville, PA to the late Squire M. and Dora Louise Phillips.

Elva loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. She enjoyed baking, crafts and tending to her flower garden. She was also a volunteer at Milford Hospital.

Elva leaves behind her children, Robert (Lyn) Lucas, Beverlee (Thomas) Alea, David (Karen) Lucas and Cindy (Pete) Jassil; her grandchildren, Kristina and Jennifer Lucas, Robert James and Michael Lucas, Kevin and Dylan Lucas and Ryan, Kimberly, Aaron, Miranda and Karina Jassil; five great grandchildren, Maggie and Joshua Lucas, Michael James and Alaina Lucas and Kylie Jassil; and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Lucas. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Lucas; her brother, Squire (Skip) Phillips; and her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Mabry.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home.
