Eugenia "Jeany" Etter

Jeany Etter, daughter of the late Frank and Hedy Etter, passed away after a short illness but full life at the age of 83. Lifelong resident of Milford, Jeany worked for the city’s Recreation Department in the early days of her career, but found her niche in and talent for print advertising which she enjoyed until her retirement.  She was an avid traveler, gardener, reader and cook, and was in the Milford Ten Pin bowling league for many years. Jeany also adored her animals, nurturing many beloved dogs during her lifetime, each bringing her companionship and much joy. Her later years kept her closer to home, but that did not stop her from staying in close touch with her many friends in Milford and around the country. Jeany is survived by family and friends who will all miss her presence and sharp mind - if only she had written that book of life’s stories she always talked about! At Jeany’s request, there will be no service, but donations in her memory can be made to the Milford Animal Hospital for the Veterinary Care Foundation (www.mahct.com) or the National Wildlife Federation (www.nwf.org).
