Florence L. Tibbals, 71, of Milford, beloved wife of Wayne Tibbals, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2017. Florence was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 13, 1946 to the late Charles and Grace Ridley Holland.

In addition to her husband, Florence is survived by her daughters, Grace-Lynn Tibbals and Jo-Ann Ochman; grandchildren, Christopher (Erin) Ochman, Danielle Ochman, and Jacob Ochman; siblings, John (Nancy) Holland, Bryant (Elsie) Holland, and Donna Roberts; nieces and nephews, Shawn (Angie) Holland, William Holland, Shane (Ellen) Holland, Ashley (Dustin) Dasher, Heather Holland, Erin (Jake) Stocum, Shannon Roberts, and Megan Roberts; uncle, Richie (Kathy) Rainville, adopted daughter, Jill Ferine; adopted granddaughter, Alysha Buccieri; adopted grandson, Jason Mieczkowski; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins. Florence was predeceased by her nephew, Charlie Holland.

Friends and family may call on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street Milford, CT. A Memorial Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
