Francis S Dwyer

Francis S. Dwyer, 82, passed away on January 8, 2022 at Harbor Village in New London, CT with loving family by his side.  Frank was born on April 12, 1939 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Lewis and Catherine (Murray) Dwyer.  

Francis proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was also the owner of Dwyer Co. Real Estate in Old Saybrook, CT.  He was a real estate broker and salesman for most of his life on the Connecticut shoreline.  He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, CT then attended St. Michael’s College in VT.  Frank loved Baseball and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians.  Frank always had a positive energy and friends loved to be and were always around him. Frank loved the CT shoreline and all the beauty and fun Old Saybrook and Westbrook had to offer. 

Francis is survived by his two sons, Christopher, and his wife, Shauna Dwyer, Patrick and his wife, Marlene Dwyer; his beloved grandchildren, Meagan, Erin, James and Brinley Dwyer, Shelby and her husband, Garrick Mayweather, Broderick and Madigan Dwyer; the mother of his children, Judith Robinson and her husband John. Francis has many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Francis was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Calamari; his brothers, Jack, James and Daniel Dwyer; and his late wife, Eileen Carney. 

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association as a tribute to Frank Dwyer.
