Genny L. Curbelo, 66, of Milford, beloved wife of Juan Curbelo, passed away suddenly on May 4, 2021. Genny was born on December 11, 1954 in San Diego, CA to the late Louis Dolceacqua, Sr. and Betty Lou Randall.
Genny worked at Dunn and Brad Street in Hamden for many years and retired from Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a customer service rep after 20 years. She spent her free time shopping and finding sales, especially for purses and shoes. She and Juan loved their time together sitting at the beach enjoying ice cream or French fries. Genny was straight forward and honest and had many priceless facial expressions.
In addition to her husband, Juan, Genny leaves behind her daughter, Sonia Curbelo; siblings, Michael (Patricia) Dolceacqua and Patrick (Debbie) Dolceacqua; brother-in-law, Santos (Carmen) Curbelo; stepmother, Allison Dolceacqua; many nieces and nephews; as well as her cat, Georgia, who she adored. She also leaves behind her bonus son, Oz Santos and his fiancé, Melina, and their children, Isabella and Isaac. She was predeceased by her siblings, Louis Dolceacqua, Jr. and Patricia Dolceacqua; and stepfather, Terry Randall.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a walk-through wake on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.
